Support
Getting your template, setting it up in Framer, and what to do when something goes wrong.
anabios is one person, so support comes straight from me. The guides below answer most questions. If they don’t help, email me.
Getting your template
- Open the template page and click Get free template (or Buy template for a paid one).
- Check out on Polar with your email. Free templates cost $0 and need no payment details.
- You get the remix link by email, and it stays in the customer portal.
Can’t find the email?
- Check your spam and promotions folders for an email from Polar.
- Open the customer portal, enter the email you used at checkout and sign in with the code Polar sends you. Your templates and their remix links are there.
- Still nothing? Email me with the address you used at checkout and I’ll sort it out.
Remixing the template
Sign in to Framer (a free account is fine), then open the remix link. Framer copies the whole project into your account. That copy is yours: edit it however you like, it never changes the original.
Editing
- Text and images: double-click text on the canvas to edit it, and select an image to replace it from the properties panel.
- Projects, films and other lists: templates keep them in the CMS. Add an item and every page that lists it updates. My CMS tutorial walks through it.
- Colors and fonts: templates use shared color and text styles, so changing a style once updates the whole site. Templates with a Styleguide page show every style in one place.
- Framer AI: some templates include a
/customizeskill that walks you through replacing the name, projects, colors and SEO. The template page lists it when it’s included.
Publishing and custom domains
Click Publish in Framer to put the site live on a free Framer subdomain. A custom domain and removing the Framer badge need a paid Framer plan. See my guides to Framer pricing and connecting a custom domain.
Template updates
When I fix or improve a template, the remix link gives you the new version, and I email people who have it. Updates are free. Your existing copy doesn’t change on its own, since a remix is a separate project; remix again to get the new version and copy your content over if you need the changes.
What support covers
- Problems getting or remixing a template.
- Bugs in a template as I built it.
- Questions about how a template’s pages, CMS or interactions work.
Building new features, redesigning sections or adding your content is custom work; see Customization. For problems with your Framer account, plan or billing, contact Framer support.
Orders, receipts and refunds
Polar is the merchant of record, so your receipt comes from Polar by email and your order history is in the customer portal. Refunds for paid templates are handled case by case: email me with your order number and what went wrong. The refund terms have the details, and the License page explains what you can build with each template.
